This scene is an actual log cabin, with apple tree and split-rail fence, in a little village called, "Montebello". It's on top of a mountain just off of the Blue Ridge Parkway in Nelson County, on the way to "Crabtree Falls", (a truly beautiful place!) There is no one living in the old cabin. But, I wanted it to look as it may have in pioneer times with a family, sheep (with long tails), and other farm critters.  When you get your print look closely at the area with the morning glories on the fence. There is a humming bird and a butterfly! And in the back near the scarecrow at the family garden is a mama hen and chicks.
