One glorious autumn day in November, Sonny and I were atop the Blue Ridge Parkway traveling to a logging road to scout for deer. It was not "turkey season" yet, so of course, we saw turkeys, and no deer! Typical for us. There was a "Tom" and two "hens". They ran across the road ahead of us and over the spine of the mountain ridge. At the same time clouds were forming fog on the next mountains over. The trees and brush were ablaze with beautiful fall colors. Just beautiful!
The Bible Scripture titles on this scene are:
"Even now men cannot look at the light when it is bright in the skies, when the wind has passed and cleared them. He comes from the north as golden splendor, with God is awesome majesty."
- Job 37:21, 22
&
"In the Lord I put my trust; how can you say to my soul, 'Flee as a bird to your mountain?'
- Psalm 11:1
