Birds & Flowers On Slate
Original oil on slate, approximate size is: 9 3/8"x8".
This is an old, "Gem" brand of water pump. It was, and still is in some places, a common pump on wells and cisterns. An old tin cup hangs off of the spigot so a thirsty person can have a cool drink of water. A dove sits atop the pump. Beautiful flowers bloom in the garden all around.
