Catalog: Horses on slate
Slate was cut from a large blackboard rescued from an 100 year old, one-room schoolhouse in Fredricksburg, Virginia. The approximate size is: 5 3/8"x6".
The original blackboard slate was so dense and heavy I had Sonny cut it into approximately 6" blocks. The old white mule is harnessed and ready to go to work.
The Bible Scripture on the slate is:
"Because I knew that thou art obstinate, and they neck is an iron sinew, and thy brow brass."
