Commissioned oil on slate
"Chelsea" was an old German Shepherd. The man who owned her wanted to have a slate painted for when Chelsea was "gone". So, I painted the dog in several stages of her life. Sadly, Chelsea passed away shortly after the slate was finished. The man was extremely glad he had it done, as it gave him something, "tangible", that he could touch to remind him of Chelsea. Circumstances like this are very rewarding for me as I feel like I am doing a service for someone, and God.
