In a series of "door" paintings that the Lord gave to me in a dream one night, this one is called, "Knock On My Door". The door represents the, "House of the Lord". The grapevine on the wall is the, "True Vine"( Jesus). The grapes are the, "Fruit of the Vine", (the Word of God). The "fierce" dog and cat are guarding the door! Actually, they would probably lick you and rub up against you, like in my home! Because in the Lord's house, everyone is always welcome!
Jesus says we have to come freely to Him, He never forces us to take Him as our Savior. We have been given "free will" by the Lord. We can choose to go to Heaven, or Hell. It's up to us. As soon as we barely knock on the door, (decide to turn to Jesus), the door opens at once! We can come in and be saved!
The Bible Scripture on this slate is:
"Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives, he who seeks finds; and to him who knocks, the door will be opened."
- Matthew 7: 7 & 8
