This is a place in Rockingham County, Virginia. The old mill, though not used anymore, still has water falling over the spillway. Geese look for fat bugs in the grass near the streams of water. An old log cabin sits in a pasture ia little way off, while cattle graze nearby. The Blue Ridge Mountains are in the far distance. It's autumn, but the days have gotten warm again for a short time, an "Indian Summer", to be sure.
