If you are truly, "for the birds", or love flowers, then this page will help you to see my paintings of birds & flowers on slate with more detail than a thumbnail will allow! Even when the thumbnail is "enlarged", it's still pretty small. See example to the right.

Note: The background "colors", (blue, tan & black), around the slates, are not really part of the picture. They are just to enhance the picture display.

Below Middle: "TRUE VINE" jpg. ; Approximate size 9"x12"; a Zebra Swallowtail butterfly alights on a bunch of ripe grapes.
Below Left: "WILD WINGS" jpg. ; Approximate size 8"x12"; Canada geese flying in a "vee" formation as they migrate.
Below Middle: "ARISEN", Peace Plants with blooms rising up, Prayer Plants, and a butterfly. Approximate size 7"x12".
Below Right: "HIGH FLIGHT" jpg. ; Approximate size is 10"x12"; Bald eagle family lives in an aerie (nest) on a rock ledge. Mama and Daddy soar in the canyon while fuzzy baby eaglets sit in the nest.
